January

• January 18th: SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH is released to Japanese arcades.
  • It marks the first BEMANI game part of the new e-AMUSEMENT Participation system, where the machine has to be connected to the eAMUSEMENT network for the game to start up. If not, the game will not run.
  • All future BEMANI arcade releases from this point onward would follow this system.

February

• February 1st: BOOM BOOM DANCE / Rhythm Party is released for the Xbox Live Arcade.
  • It marks the final BEMANI game on a home console to date.
• February 15th:
  • wac's first album, 音楽, is released.
  • Dormir's first album, Petit March, is released.
• February 23rd: GuitarFreaksXG3 & DrumManiaXG3 is released to Japanese arcades.
• February 29th:
  • beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK released.
  • BEST HIT YCO, a best hits album featuring long-contributing commission artists Y&Co.'s various BEMANI songs, is released.
  • REFLEC BEAT ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK released.
  • REFLEC BEAT limelight ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK released.
  • Twinkle World EP released.

March

• March 7th: Sana's third and final compilation album with KONAMI, Sana Coffret, is released.
• March 14th: jubeat copious APPEND is released to Japanese arcades.
• March 21st:
  • GuitarFreaksXG3 & DrumManiaXG3 Original Soundtrack 1st season released.
  • A remastered version of Asaki's first album, 神曲, is released.
• March 27th: DanceEvolution ARCADE is released to Japanese arcades.
• March 28th: jubeat copious APPEND SOUNDTRACK is released.

June

• June 15th: Jimmy Weckl leaves KONAMI to work as a freelancer.
• June 27th: DanceDanceRevolution X3 VS 2ndMIX ~X3 SIDE~ Original Soundtrack released.

July

• July 25th: pop'n music 20 fantasia original soundtrack released.

September

• September 19th: beatmania IIDX 20 tricoro is released to Japanese arcades. It marks the first game in the series to be in HD.
• September 25th: jubeat saucer is released to Japanese arcades.

October

• Unknown date: 乐动魔方 全国对战版 is released to Chinese arcades, marking it as the final version of the jubeat series to be imported into Mainland China.

November

• November 14th: jubeat plus (Android) is released for Xperia phones/tablets.
• November 21st:
  • REFLEC BEAT colette -Winter- is released to Japanese arcades.
  • GuitarFreaksXG3 & DrumManiaXG3 Original Soundtracks 2nd season released.
  • jubeat saucer ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK -Smith- released.
  • Sota Fujimori's fourth album, SYNTHESIZED4, is released.

• December 5th: pop'n music Sunny Park is released to Japanese arcades.
  • PON takes over as series' head sound director from long-time sound director wac, a position he holds to this very day.
