概况
- During the location test, the MASTER difficulty was named EXTREME instead.
- The Motion Save Function was implemented on March 16th, 2022, which allows players to record their own dances played in Performance Style and view them later on a smartphone or other device. Only one song per play can be saved on the total result screen.
- This option is currently not available on the North American version of the game.
- The North American version requests the player to input their date of birth (month and year) every time a new game is started - even if you already have player data created on an eamusement pass.
- There is also a bug in the North American version in which the game will not accept a player name with the letter A included. This has yet to be fixed and there is no option on the official website player data to change the player's name.

The DANCE aROUND × DanceDanceRevolution 2022 natsu no MUSIC CHOICE (DANCE aROUND × DanceDanceRevolution 2022夏のMUSIC CHOICE) event began on August 10th, 2022. Players can obtain MUSIC CHOICE by playing credits of DANCE aROUND, DanceDanceRevolution, and DANCERUSH STARDOM to unlock crossovers for the first two series. The amount of MUSIC CHOICE obtainable per credit depends on the game mode played, as well as once per day bonuses for playing DANCE aROUND, DanceDanceRevolution, and DANCERUSH STARDOM in a day:

Afterwards, the CHOICES for each game can be spent in the website to unlock a crossover. Note that the songs will not be available right away; their appearance date will depend on how much CHOICE you spend on each of them. 200 or more CHOICE will instantly unlock a song when its unlocking period starts, while lower CHOICE will unlock it on later dates.
