本专辑是宇野将平以RoughSketch名义发布的第八张专辑，在M3-2017秋同人活动初次售卖。这是他的第四张收录有BEMANI曲目长版的专辑（收录有他为jubeat系列供曲的长版），另有一首SOUND VOLTEX供曲的Remix。
专辑在宇野的厂牌Notebook Records下发售。

FORGOTTEN GEARS is 宇野将平's eighth solo album under his RoughSketch alias, released during the M3-2017 Fall doujin event. It is his fifth album to feature a long version of a BEMANI song, this time from the jubeat series; it also features a remix of one of his SOUND VOLTEX songs.
