Release Information

• Release date: July 19th, 2017

General Information / Changes

• Local Matching function was added, allowing up to 4 people to play linked.
  • Much like the Session Combo during Session play in GuitarFreaks & DrumMania, an "Ensemble Combo" (アンサンブルコンボ) is displayed during gameplay when matching.
• Grade system was added, which gives the players a grade from 1 to 20 according to their gameplay performance.
• "NEAR" judgment was added, which works similarly to Almost/GOOD judgments of other BEMANI series, giving the player 0 points by pressing a key close to the keys they should have pressed.
  • Since September 6th, 2017, the NEAR judgment can be switched off at the options menu.
• The function to autoplay left/right hand notes was added. It can be selected during the difficulty selection screen.
• Since September 6th, 2017, GOOD no longer breaks the player's combo.
• Category sort during the song selection screen was added on October 18th, 2017.
• A visual effect upon obtaining Full Combo was added.
• 在韩国方面题目用谚文表记为노스텔지어 (NOSTALGIA)，但是其他方面没有变化，也许是为了绕过韩国游戏评级和管理委员会的审查。

A collaboration event with SOUND VOLTEX IV HEAVENLY HAVEN, where by playing both games during February 2018, songs from the ノスタルジア series will cross over to that specific game and vice-versa:

• 1 time: Ha・lle・lu・jah (originally available as part of the Version up kinen gakkyoku koukan (バージョンアップ記念 楽曲交換) event)
• 5 times: Lord=Crossight

The event continued during March 2018, this time with jubeat clan. By having cleared certain Chapters of the Smith no kimagure ensoukai (スミスのきまぐれ演奏会) Stage in ノスタルジア FORTE and obtaining certain titles in jubeat clan, songs from the ノスタルジア series will cross over to that specific game and vice-versa:

• スミスのきまぐれ演奏会 Chapter 3, Croitからの贈り物 title: Towards the TOWER (originally available as part of the Version up kinen gakkyoku koukan (バージョンアップ記念 楽曲交換) event)

From April 26th to May 27th, 2018, the event continued this time with GITADORA Matixx. Obtain Neko bear batch (ネコベアバッチ) by playing a GITADORA Matixx credit, to unlock songs from the GITADORA series in ノスタルジア FORTE:

• 1 ネコベアバッチ: The Least 100sec (originally available as part of the Version up kinen gakkyoku koukan (バージョンアップ記念 楽曲交換) event)
• 3 ネコベアバッチ: Chronos

Note that unlike previous parts of the Kikan gentei gakkyoku koukan event, satisfying the conditions to unlock the crossovers in GITADORA Matixx is not required to unlock either The Least 100sec nor Chronos.

Carezza can be unlocked by clearing the KAC Final Challenge (only available during the 1st TUNE), a course of zeeros, ピアノ協奏曲第1番"蠍火", and Carezza. The KAC Final Challenge is available by first clearing the KAC CONCERTs (which are courses of the songs used for the Quaterfinal and Semifinal of The 7th KONAMI Arcade Championship's ノスタルジア section, with 81 Steps each).
